REMEMBRANCE

“Remembrance" is the breakout album of multitalented pianist, composer, arranger, and producer Rashid Lanie. Dedicated to the memory of his late father, this superb Jazz album is sure to prove a huge hit.  The album is an expression  of sophisticated American Roots Jazz combined with a distinct African Jazz flavor which reflects the strong Jazz roots of his country of birth, South Africa.

The album is engineered by Grammy winner Tom Weir and features an all star line up which includes two time Grammy winner, saxophonist Ernie Watts, upright bassist Wendall Williams, percussionist Angel Luís Figueroa, drummer Anthony Davis and Bakithi Kumalo on electric 5 string bass.
